Meet Furbaby #1: Artemis Aka "Farti"

Artemis joined our family last year after being placed on Craigslist. She was picked up at a hotel, in a room that had been gutted out, and was walking on nothing but concrete. Such a sad sight, and at that moment we knew we had to foster her and get her out of that environment! 

Initially, Artemis was only going to be in our family as a foster. Boy, oh, Boy did that change quickly! She stole our hearts and collectively my boyfriend and I decided she wasn't going anywhere. 

It took a moment for her to warm up and get comfortable with us, but once she did she became the happy pup she was destined to become. She is a sweet pup who loves playing "catch the tail," chewing on shoes, furniture, and anything else that suits her fancy. 

As most Pit Bull owners will relate, Artemis does have one nuisance. She can clear a room with her flatulence! She is the gassiest Pit I have ever met. Of course, this is also what earned her nickname. "Farti" sneak attacks you when you least expect it. Don't let her fool you....it's not Pibble cuddles she wants to give you when she jumps into your lap.....
